WORK IN PROGRESS

View from the second floor onto the in floor heating skim coat. Teck cable coming out of floor feed new 200 A service which will supply the existing panel and allow for the addition. Careful layout, planning and engineering brought this job together.

This unique farm house included wrap around decks with stamped concrete patio. Tight framing provides a solid base for a clean finish

This siding project included upgrading the windows. A well installed window is levelled and shimmed and includes a weatherproof exterior seal, spray foam interior insulation and a drip edge integrated into the building envelop. Its in the details!

Plumbing is an integral part of the mechanics of the house and deserves special attention. Quality sub trades add value to projects and greatly increase the lifespan of the work.

Site preparation, service installation, sewer, drainage and site finish are crucial to a projects completion.

Ready for back fill. Perimeter drains are yet to be covered by drain rock and filter fabric. All drains tie into a large rock pit at the front of the addition. Foundation is damp proofed and ready to be filled with compacted materials to support the new garage slab. The central slab includes the new 200A service feed and was previously a covered carport. A floor will be built over top and the area will include a grand foyer area with mudroom, large laundry and powder room.

This build included a large covered front patio with a self supporting wood beam engineered to cantilever ten feet. Careful layout kept the window spacing even and lined up. The tongue and groove pine soffit with skylight wells made for an exceptional outdoor living space.

Tile work should last a lifetime. Kerdi decoupling membrane holds the in floor heat cables while supporting the large format tile. The shower area includes an acrylic base and shelf with Kerdi wall membrane making it an excellent low maintenance enclosure.

This new deck is covering the the old too small patio area. The roof was temporarily supported to change the beams and remove the centre post. Soffit was carefully removed and replaced and the deck had a composite decking installed.
